12 years after we saw the 1st Audi R8 GT, the new R8 Coupe V10 GT RWD. To celebrate, the V10 602hp, the most powerful rear-wheel drive unit in Audi’s history. The new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission has faster shifts and the new Torque Rear driving mode personalise the (7) levels of ESC support. It gives the driver controlled, yet precise oversteering which are selected via a steering wheel knob. Only 333 units will be built for distribution worldwide. There new exterior and interior features as a nod to the 1st R8 GT. Apart from sequential numbering, there are special light alloy wheels, and a black and red interior.

The R8 GT Says Goodbye to the V10 Engine

R8 GT gets the same performance as the quattro model, with 602 HP / 413 lb-ft of torque from the naturally aspirated, 5.2L 10 cylinder engine.  0s to 100 km/h (62 mph)  comes up in 3.4 seconds, reaches the 200 km/h (124 mph) mark in just 10.1 seconds, and reaches a top track speed of up to 320 km/h (199 mph).

New Torque Rear Drive Mode

Ceramic braking is standard equipment in the R8 GT, as are the bucket seats, performance sports suspension, and the CFRP anti-roll bar.
