“The SQ7 and SQ8 are technology showcases for our brand, representing the pinnacle of luxury and performance SUVs,” said Nick Reid, General Manager Marketing at Audi Australia.

“We are delighted to see them return to our range in Australia with a new TFSI dimension to their performance.”

The new SQ7 and SQ8 are now powered by a 4.0 TFSI V8 with twin turbochargers, with a stonking 373 kW / 770 Nm and has a 0 to 100 km/h of 4.1 seconds. Economy comes in at around 12.2 L/100km (SQ8), because Cylinder on Demand (CoD) technology deactivates four cylinders temporarily, when the power isn’t needed, such as at cruising speeds.
