A SUV or sports utility vehicle (SUV) class of vehicle is a big car built on a body-on-frame chassis, with increased ground clearance. Unlike their 4×4 counterparts, SUV’s tend to be more road bias, offering limited off-roading capabilities. SUV’s are fitted with features that make them well suited for long drives. Some SUVs, offer seven seats for even more practicality.
A higher driving position gives you a commanding view of the road. While SUV’s can’t match true 4x4s off-road, and their larger size means they’re not as good as sedans on it, the compromise is you get the best of both worlds. SUV’s are sub-classified into small, medium, large and upper large.
