GMC announced today that its all-electric super truck will debut later this fall and will begin production in fall 2021. Details about the GMC HUMMER EV’s remarkable on- and off-road capabilities will be shared closer to its reveal.

EV sales have increased over the last decade. HUMMER was seen in Australia for a short while, but size and fuel consumption made this military style SUV impractical for city use.

In recent years, EVs have grown in size and range, with the standard being set by Tesla, with up to 600km from a single charge.

HUMMER promises up to 746kw(1,000hp) and 15582Nm (11500lb-ft), with a 0-100 time of 3 seconds, which is well inside Supercar territory.
