Electric motorcycles to feature  at Inaugural Australian Motorcycle Festival

New to the market electric motorcycles will be a popular feature of the inaugural Australian Motorcycle Festival presented by Shannons Insurance at Wollongong’s Lang Park on November 9-10.

The ever-growing electric market has seen a surge in big-name brands entering the arena, including Harley-Davidson with its all-new, all-electric LiveWire motorcycle which will make its Australian debut at the festival.

Representing the future of Harley-Davidson, the LiveWire brings forward a new electrified chapter of the brand’s story that will continue innovative approaches to transportation and technology.

Keith Waddell, Marketing Manager for Harley-Davidson ANZ shared, “This is a completely new motorcycling experience.

The LiveWire is the first of our EV models coming to market and the festival will be one of the first times the Australian public will get to see the model for themselves.”

Visitors to the festival will be able to view the Harley-Davidson LiveWire with the Harley-Davidson display of new model motorcycles.

The exciting and Australian developed Savic Motorcycle’s electric cafe racer promises to turn heads with the next evolution of the C-Series production prototype to feature at the festival.

The new iteration has undergone extensive development following customer feedback gained over the past twelve months.

Enhancements include redesigned bodywork for improved rider comfort, redesigned and manufactured Power Train Unit named the SM1 (electric motor and battery pack), and an all new dash.

The festival will also feature Fonzarelli’s latest electric release – NKD  which will be on display at the event. This model is the fastest in its class at 3.9 seconds to 100 KM/H.
