In this 3 part series celebrating IronFest 2018, we take the Jaguar E-Pace across the Blue Mountains to a tiny town called Lithgow just beyond.

What started as a small street fete with metal workers a decade ago, Ironfest is now a feast of arts, crafts, and reenactments.

There are handsome knights, dashing SteamPunks, literary characters, and fantasy gamers of all shapes and sizes. They’re interspersed with working military vehicles lovingly restored and manned by an army of volunteers.

The festival ran the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of April 2018, and is around this time every year. How does a small town like Lithgow take to hoards and riff-raff? Very well as it turns out.
