13: Tesla Model 3:

Of COURSE it is a Tesla Model 3, what else would it be? In fact, there are some who think tesla is the only EV on the market. No, seriously, the ONLY EV being sold. But then, some people are stupid.

12: 2022 BMW iX xDrive 40 Sport:

In a surprise entry, BMW’s iX managed a placing especially when pitted against the Audi eTron further down. Do people really have this much money to spend?

11: 2022 LEXUS UX 300e Electric SUV:

This cheeky newby is LEXUS’ first attempt at a full EV. We thought the range was a bit short-ish, but what a cracker of a drive. It is a little darling.

10: 2023 Kia Niro EV:

Kia and Hyundai have been getting along at a cracking pace EV-wise. Along with the EV6 and IONIQ 5, the Hyundai group now has an EV for every occassion, including for the poshest of Genesis buyers.

9: 2022 BMW iX3 M:

BMW shoved an electric motor into an X3 to give us the iX3. It’s not got the gravitas of the iX 40, but is a proper EV none the less. The buyers of this car said, “What gay bloke doesn’t want a BMW.” And with that, we will leave it there.

8: 2022 Polestar 2 Dual Motor:

Polestar was spun off from Volvo as a stand alone performance electric brand. Volvo now has performance EVs too, so one wonders why they bothered. Gay buyers said they liked the looks most of all.

7: Kia EV6:

KIA EV6 signals a new direction. Its twin, the Hyundai IONIQ 5, also rates a mention as well. Gay buyers tell us they wanted space and range. They dared us to find something with this performance and range for the price. It is one of the very few EVs on the market able to use ultra fast 350Kw charging.

6: Hyundai IONIQ 5:

Hyundai IONIQ 5 charges at a 350Kwh station, has oodles of room, and comes in AWD. OK, Many EVs have dual motor AWD systems, but this one has good range combined with fast charging, like the EV6 sister.

5: Hyundai Kona EV:

We liked Kona EV when we first drove it, but we thought it was a bit expensive for what it was. It touches the base model EV6/IONIQ5 pricewise.

3: 2021 Audi E-Tron 50 Sportback:

This is one sexy looking EV. It also proves that you don’t have to look weird to be driven by an electric motor.

2: MG ZS EV:

It is cheap and cheerful, and until the BYD arrives later in the year, the cheapest EV on the market. Gay buyers said they wanted value? Well, here’s value.

1: Nissan Leaf:

Nissan Leaf has been around a long time. Nissan is doing work on second life projects using old batteries too.
