Australian-built cars from the 1960s and 1970s could steal the spotlight from the more exotic European and American vehicles in Shannons Melbourne Winter Auction on Monday (July 21).

Shannons also have two locally-built Ford Fairlanes in Monday’s sale – a 1968 ZB top-of-the-range V8 ‘500’ model coming from long-term family ownership that is being offered with ‘No Reserve’ (guiding range $7,000-$10,000) and a rare 1971 matching-numbers K-Code 351- cid ZD with the rare factory LSD option for true Muscle Car performance that is expected to sell in the $18,000-$26,000 range.
