September alone saw 280,469 Cherys roll out worldwide, including 91,590 NEVs (that’s hybrids and EVs for the acronym-weary) — up a thumping 55.4%. The company’s been China’s top vehicle exporter for 22 years straight and now sits proudly among the nation’s top five NEV makers.
From Poland to the UK, Chery’s TIGGO line is winning over buyers with sharp design and tech-heavy interiors. The Brits, bless them, are just getting acquainted with the TIGGO 7 and 8, both earning five-star Euro NCAP ratings. Meanwhile, Chery’s global endurance test — the cheekily named “Endless Horizon Worry-Free Voyage” — is proving that its Super Hybrid tech can handle everything from African dust to European drizzle.
