Toyota’s iconic LandCruiser 300 Series is set to receive significant upgrades for its 2025 model, further boosting its appeal across all six variants. The refreshed range, arriving in Australian showrooms in the second quarter of 2025, will offer enhanced safety, multimedia technology, and added comfort, making it even more attractive to off-road enthusiasts, families, and adventure seekers.
Key safety improvements include the introduction of Toyota’s latest generation of Safety Sense features across all variants. This now includes lane trace assist, emergency steering assist, and the emergency driving stop system, which were previously only available on higher-spec models. The GXL and above grades also gain Toyota’s safe exit assist, warning of approaching vehicles or cyclists, as well as rear parking support brake, helping to avoid collisions while reversing.

The multimedia experience is upgraded with the latest Toyota system, offering connected navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as standard across the range. The GX and GXL grades come with an 8-inch touchscreen, while higher variants feature a larger 12.3-inch display. All models benefit from Toyota Connected Services, offering remote air conditioning control, trip information, and alerts through the myToyota Connect app.
Comfort and convenience are also improved across the board. The GX now features power adjustment for the steering wheel and front LED interior lighting. The GXL grade gets additional luxury touches, including suede-like upholstery, eight-way powered driver’s seat, four-zone climate control, and a centre console cool box. The VX grade adds a powered tailgate and HDMI port, while the GR Sport variant includes a puddle lamp for better visibility at night.
Under the bonnet, the 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged diesel V6 engine, producing 227kW and 700Nm of torque, remains. Full pricing and specifications will be revealed closer to the LandCruiser 300 Series’ launch in mid-2025.
