Alfa Romeo has had a wonderfully coloured past. Like that bad, bad boy who keeps letting you down, you can’t resist the muscular body, and gorgeous face. Alfa has been through the Italian era of rampant rust, mechanical mayhem, shoddy parts and sub-par performance, but driving one always made you feel like a king.
Now part of Stellantis, Alfa Romeo Tonale Hybrid, continues the sexy Italian’s transformation into something altogether bright and new, while keeping the delicious spirit that kept us all falling in love over and over.
Tonale Hybrid spearheads Alfa Romeo’s charge into the brave new world of connectivity and electrification.
The svelte SUV now has its international safety rating confirmed for Australia, with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating set in stone.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale Hybrid performed well on the 4 assessment pillars, with good all-round performance for the protection of adult and child occupants and vulnerable road users, and for their ability to actively avoid a crash through standard-fit collision avoidance systems.
