A cost-effective method of ownership
The European ride-hailing market is growing from €28 billion today, to €50 billion by 2030. It is ripe for widespread electrification. Electric cars will be essential for those wishing to access low emissions zones (LEZ) being brought in across the continent.
Interestingly, most hire drivers operate in urban and seri-urban areas. Taking this example, of the 47,500 private hire vehicles registered in France, 75 per cent of them are in Paris and the
greater-Paris area (2020 figures from Stacian).
The new service will encompass taxis, PHVs, and other private transport services such as medical and community transport. The service will suit full-time, part-time, or one-off drivers. This kind of setup services will also be available for other Renault Group electric vehicles.
Casual drivers will have access to a pay-as-you-drive solution, while Mobilize packages will also include services such as manufacturer-backed warrantees, maintenance, insurance, and charging solutions. Such all-inclusive, competitive packages serve to give commercial operators peace of mind.
