Just 112 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 will be created, and was revealed today in its public debut at The Quail, USA. 112 was the internal development number of the original Countach, and there are other cues too.
The wheels have a “telephone” design, and the paintwork has a touch of pearlescent blue and was very like Ferruccio Lamborghini’s own Countach LP 400 S, complete with red and black leather heritage interior.
The cabin has other features inspired by the prigonal car. The leather has a 70’s-inspired geometric stitching pattern on the bespoke comfort seats and dashboard. The square motif has that bold style, highlighting the optimism of 1970s design and technology.

There are many colours for buyers to select from such as: Impact White, Giallo Countach, Verde Medio, Viola Pasifae and Blu Uranus. The palette is a mix of 70’s and modern colours, but that’s not all.
The infotainment system has an 8,4” HDMI touchscreen made especially for the LPI 800-4. Like all modern systems, it contains all settings, and manages music. You can connect your phone to stream music, and of course there is Apple CarPlay. For those who have forgotten how special their car is, you can press a button called‘Stile’ (Design). The system will then explain the Countach design philosophy to its privileged audience.
Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 weighs 1595kg, and is powered by a non-turbo V12 engine. There is a small 48 Volt E-motor, and although the mild hybrid harkens to an emerging technology, the V12 keeps true to its heritage. Output of 574kw from the petrol engine gains a further 24kw for an electric boost when needed.
The engine and racing gearbox are mounted lengthways, giving the rear engined coupe a distinctive profile.
The muscular Lambo is good for 355kph, and a 0-100 of 2.8 seconds. Pricing is expected to be around $5mllion AUD
