Manchester pride has announced Ariana Grande and Years & Years are to Headline Manchester Pride.

Ariana Grande and Years & Years will headline an absolutely stellar line up which will include;

Ariana Grande to Headline Manchester Gay Pride

American singer, songwriter, and actress and multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning recording artist. She has amassed over 30 billion streams on streaming platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music and is the most listened female on both Spotify and apple music.

Ariana Grande is an influential figure on social media, an outspoken feminist and vigorous supporter for LGBT rights. All five of Grande’s full-length albums have been certified platinum by the RIAA. From Judy Garland to Britney Spears, pop artists have often been heralded as gay icons, and Ariana is well deserving of her place among them.

“Break Free” is arguably the song that made Ariana break into the hearts and playlists of gay people everywhere. Her “Break Free” video is a camp gay fantasy that features a gay aliens kissing. Bring it on in Manchester Ariana!

Years & Years to Headline Manchester Gay Pride

Years & Years are a British synth-pop band, founded in London, United Kingdom. Their biggest hit single “King” reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in March 2015, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland.

Olly Alexander says he was advised to hide his sexuality however ignored the advice,  he later made a BBC documentary about his experiences, called Growing Up Gay.
