2020 Audi Q7 QUATTRO S-Line Review Audi Q7 was handsome, but aging so it got a nip and tuck. We took the big SUV down the M5 for a tasty light lunch at Picton, our usual haunt. We came back via the Grand Pacific Drive and through the Royal National Park. So, After a week in the saddle, and after probing every single nook and cranny, what did we think of the old girl?

VW T-Cross hits the compact segment of the market with a bang. It sets a high bar, and may well find itself a market leader among the young, hip, and happening, crowd. What it’s got: There are 2 models, pithily called “Life, and “Style.” We snaffled the top model. Style has a nice set of 18” alloys, and smart entry/start.

2020 VW Amarok Core V6 4Motion Turbo Diesel VW Amorok is the pickup truck for the man’s man. There, I’ve said it. I’ve long felt Amorok to be the best looking working-man’s daily driver. I’d go so far as to say it is dead sexy. Squared-off lines give the big pick-up truck a Tonka-toy look.

We Drive Toyota’s Cute 2020 C-HR Koba Hybrid

C-HR is youthful and exuberant, and full of fun and joy. Toyota threw caution to the wind, yet avoided the errors of the Nissan’s first Juke, an SUV just a touch smaller than C-HR. Nissan’s first attempt to be young and hip, was more nerdy and awkward, and frankly, just awful. The new Juke fixed all that. Meanwhile C-HR steamed ahead. Last month, Nissan sold 157 jukes, and Toyota shifted 1199 C-HRs for the same period.

2020 Toyota Fortuner Crusade SUV Review – Gay SUV Fortuner is big and bold and can go anywhere you want, when you want. Once upon a time, SUVs felt rough and ready. Now, they have the mod cons you expect from any road car. There is superb climate control, and an excellent 4WD system. The brand new Hilux and Fortuner are just around the corner, but for now… There is a 3rd row of seats for small people, and a plethora of cup holders.

Across the Sahara, in a 2020 Toyota Sahara, in My Mind

When you think of Toyota, what do you think of? Do you think of the mind-numbing drudgery of an ancient creaking Corolla, whose rust is held together with lashings of lovingly applied house paint? Or, do you think of being in a far-off land, cradled gently in the ample bosom of a LandCruiser Sahara?

2020 Kia Sorento Sport BLACK Edition is Delicious

KIA Sorento is big, and bold, and very comfortable. Most of all, for under 50 grand, KIA Sorento is excellent value for money. That is KIA’s biggest selling point, a lot of car for the money. KIA Sorento is vast. Washing the metal is like painting the Harbour bridge, and the cavernous cabin is lavished with all manner of soft, cosy, coverings.

2020 Volkswagen Golf R Final Edition FULL REVIEW

By |2020-06-21T11:19:14+10:00June 21st, 2020|4 Cylinder, AWD, Car Reviews by Brand, Car Type Search, Drive Wheels, Engine Type Search, Grand Tourer, Hot Hatch, Turbo, VW Reviews|0 Comments

Only 450 special edition Golf R will come to Australia. The Shiny new Golf MK 8 arrives next year, so VW decided to celebrate with a trio of tasty colours: Victory Blue; Viper Green metallic (last seen in Scirocco R); and Violet Touch Pearlescent. The colours are applied by men in white coats, after they’re grabbed the cars the production line. It seems like a lot of trouble to go to, especially for a piddling $350. The usual Golf R colours,: Pure White; Lapiz Blue Metallic; and Deep Black Pearl Effect, are no cost options. For 350 bucks, I’d make sure I was one of the early buyers. There is nothing better than bragging rights at the pub.
