DEEPAL S05 and E07 to Join S07 in OZ Lineup, Pricing Here

In a market desperate for innovation that doesn’t feel like a tech bro’s PowerPoint, DEEPAL is back with two juicy new morsels: the sleek S05 compact SUV, and the genre-bending E07 Multitruck. And yes, you can register your interest now – because waiting until Q3 2025 is already too much foreplay.

Let’s start with the DEEPAL S05 – the S07’s younger, sassier sibling. She’s smaller, smarter, and maybe even a little cuter. While pricing and specs are still under wraps (how mysterious), Cormac Cafolla, DEEPAL Australia’s GM, promises the S05 has “big personality.” Like your favourite twink with a law degree. Expect full EV tech, but trimmed down for urban living – a compact package with all the smarts of her big sister.

But it’s the DEEPAL E07 Multitruck that really swings the glitter cannon.

Forget SUV. Forget Ute. This is a Multitruck – which sounds like something dreamed up after a big night on the sauce. With a shape-shifting body, the E07 can go from SUV to Ute faster than Laya de Campe can change wigs. Throw in a panoramic dome roof, 300kg payload, and zero-gravity massage seats, and you’ve got a mobile glamping suite for the gays, theys, and tradies.

Having said that, we’re keeping in mind the abysmal sales flop that is the Tesla Cybertruck, but on we press.

Under the bonnet? The AWD dual-motor punches out a face-bending 440kW and does 0-100 in 3.9 seconds – making it one of the fastest things you’ll see on the road this year. Electric cars have opened up a whole world of sub-4-second times for the 0-100 dash, and the looks just get crazier and crazier.
