Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza Sydney – Rare and Expensive Viewing

Ferrari fanatics, start your engines! From Friday, 29 November to Sunday, 1 December 2024, the picturesque Palm Beach will come alive with the unmistakable growl of Ferrari supercars as Sydney hosts the inaugural Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza. A love letter to Enzo Ferrari’s legacy, this three-day extravaganza promises to fuel the fiery passion of local Ferrari devotees and dazzle all attendees with automotive excellence.

Set against the backdrop of Palm Beach Golf Club’s lush lawns and the sparkling waters of Sydney’s northern beaches, more than 50 pristine Ferraris will be on display, showcasing a stunning cross-section of the brand’s finest. From the sleek lines of the V12 up to the 550 Maranello, to the ground-shaking GTO, F40, and Enzo, this event is a must-see for any car enthusiast. Special classes will celebrate Ferrari’s limited series, modern icons, and the 40th anniversary of the Testarossa, a timeless icon that defined the ’80s and continues to captivate today.

Open to both Ferrari owners and the public, the event offers something for everyone. Bring the whole family along—kids under 14 get in free, and concessions are available for those under 25. And for those who want to arrive in style, you can even take a scenic seaplane flight over Sydney Harbour, landing at the exclusive Casa Ferrari hospitality venue.

But it’s not just about looking; it’s about competing. A panel of experts, endorsed by Cavallino Inc., will judge entries using the same meticulous standards as the famed Cavallino Classic in Florida, Modena, and Abu Dhabi. Ferrari models will compete for top honours in categories like Supercars, V8, V12, and more. With some modern entries eligible for People’s Choice awards, it’s clear that Ferrari’s charm crosses generations. Cars scoring 97 or more will receive Platinum Awards, and the crème de la crème will vie for the coveted Best of Show title.

Following evaluation, honours are awarded to the leading vehicles within each category.

  1. Supercars – open to GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo. LaFerrari, as a ‘young timer’, will be accepted for non-competitive display
  2. V8 – open to all Ferrari V8 models up to the 360 Modena
  3. V12 – open to all Ferrari V12 models up to the 550 Maranello

Two further categories showcasing modern icons will also be displayed.

  2. Special & Limited Series – open to limited production Ferrari models such as the 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale, 488 Pista, 599 GTO, F12 TdF, 812 Competizione and more

And when the engines cool, the fun doesn’t stop. The weekend promises a festival of activities, exquisite cuisine from Sydney’s finest, and of course, a glittering presentation dinner on Saturday night, where winners will be crowned.

Whether you’re an aficionado, an aspiring owner, or simply want to bask in the beauty of Ferrari’s finest, the Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza is the event of the season. So, gear up for a weekend of fast cars, fabulous food, and an experience worthy of the prancing horse itself.
