Ford Mustang Pricing and Updates for 2025

Pre-production vehicles shown.

Ford Australia has just dropped some hot news: the seventh-generation Ford Mustang is getting a makeover, with a fresh set of specs and prices for 2025. The beloved Mustang Dark Horse Special Edition is bowing out, with all 1,000 units heading to new homes down under. If you’re eyeing one, you might need to act fast!

But don’t fret if you missed the Dark Horse; there’s still plenty of Mustang GT Fastbacks, GT Convertibles, and EcoBoost Fastbacks up for grabs. Availability varies by dealer, but you can still find the current models nationwide. As for the updated Mustang, it’s set to start rolling off the production line in late 2024, with the revamped models hitting our shores early next year.

There was a time when Mustang outsold all the other sports cars in the segment combined. Only 19 Mustang have found homes so far this year, down from 1352 this time last year but even that figure was down from its dizzying high. The sector is down %51 over all, with Subaru BRZ selling 636 coupes and 338 Toyota GR 86’s finding homes, the rest is shared between Nissan Z, Mazda MX5, and Mini Cabrio.

Meet the New Bronze Appearance Pack

For 2025, Ford’s introducing the snazzy Bronze Appearance Pack for GT models. This new option swaps out the old Black Appearance Pack and brings a touch of bronze brilliance to your ride:

  • Sinister Bronze Pony Badging on the front grille
  • Sinister Bronze ‘GT’ Badging at the rear
  • Sinister Bronze ‘5.0’ Badging on the fenders
  • 19-inch x 9-inch Front and 19-inch x 9.5-inch Rear Sinister Bronze-painted Wheels

It’s like Ford’s saying, “Let’s make your Mustang stand out with a bit of bling.”

Colour Changes for 2025

In the world of colours, things are shifting a bit. For the 2025 model year, you can opt for the new Prestige Paint hue of Molten Magenta. If that’s too wild, other choices include Carbonised Grey, Grabber Blue, Vapour Blue, Shadow Black, Iconic Silver, and the no-cost option Race Red. Oxford White is sticking around, but don’t plan on seeing Atlas Blue, Dark Matter Grey, Rapid Red, or Yellow Splash—they’re taking their leave.

Mustang’s updated styling and fresh paint options take the sexy Mustang and give it a gentle nudge.
