Helpful hint no. 25: What side is my car’s fuel filler on?

It’s a question people often ask themselves as they pull into a petrol station.

The answer is right in front of each and every driver right on the fuel gauge.

There is a little arrow which everyone notices but completely ignores. The fuel filler is on the side indicated by the arrow. If the arrow points left, that’s where the cap is.

    That’s a very good question. This and many other things are in the car’s user guide but the complexity of the info overwhelms most buyers

    I didnt know about the arrow on fuel guage indicating which side of vehicle the fuel tank sits. This is crazy easy! One of those glaringly obvious tips that when you find out you think “Why arent we told about this when purchasing motor vehicles” Thank you 😀
