Nissan’s Z Nismo– Order Now Through Dealerships

The big, brawny Nissan Z Nismo is the go-to for lovers of Japanese sports muscle. The first 100- sold out in 53 minutes and was the first time Nissan Z could be ordered online.  The model is now available to be ordered through the Nissan dealer network for $94,000.

“As soon as we saw the pent-up demand for the Nissan Z NISMO, and the speed at which our first allocation was exhausted, we knew there would be fans of this iconic vehicle who had missed out on securing one for themselves,” says Nissan Australia’s new Managing Director, Andrew Humberstone. Andrew replaces Adam Paterson who is returning to Nissan Americas

“That is why I’m so thrilled we’ve been able to secure additional vehicles to meet that demand. The Z NISMO is now available to be ordered through our Nissan dealer network, with deliveries to begin almost immediately.

“The Z NISMO is a vehicle that needs to be driven to be believed, and we’re so happy that even more Australians will now get the chance to do exactly that.”

Local testing around Lake Mountain, a favourite for performance-car lovers, has the best of Australian bends for much of its 20km length.

The road from Marysville through the Cathedral Range State Park, showed off the NISMO-tuned Active Sound Control. Most would say the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V6 needs nothing more than a careful foot, so I would prefer the native growl. The Z Nismo’s power is up by 11kW/45Nm to 309kW/520Nm, as plus for many a bum-clenching moment.

Nismo upgrades include:

  • NISMO-tuned nine-speed automatic with paddle shifters
  • wider and lighter wheels (+0.5-inches)
  • bigger brakes (front brake rotors +25mm)
  • More engine cooling
  • NISMO aerodynamic enhancements
  • New NISMO Sport+ Driving Mode
  • NISMO-tuned Launch Control
  • NISMO tuned suspension and anti-roll bars
  • NISMO branded RECARO® seats (Heated and powered deleted)
  • NISMO-tuned Active Sound Control
  • Power increased to 309kW (+11kW) and 520Nm (+45Nm)
  • Gloss black RAYS® 19-inch wheels (0.5” wider Fr & Rr & lighter)
