Set against the dazzling backdrop of Orpheus Island in North Queensland, the Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition was unveiled in spectacular style at Range Rover House, a pop-up luxury haven that perfectly encapsulates the brand’s ethos. This exclusive creation, limited to just five bespoke vehicles, is available only to Australian clients. The Orpheus Edition is a love letter to coastal luxury, oceanic elegance, and the mesmerising beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

Guests invited to this opulent unveiling were treated to a sensory feast, surrounded by crystalline waters and unspoiled beaches. The Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition mirrors its namesake’s dreamlike tranquillity. Cloaked in a bespoke Blue Gloss exterior with a striking silver roof, it rides on 23-inch forged alloy wheels in Dark Grey with a Black Satin finish. Inside, the creamy tones of quilted Perlino leather and a natural cream Ash Burr steering wheel evoke the island’s rippling sands, while personalised scatter cushions and bespoke treadplates elevate this SUV to an art form.

But beauty isn’t skin deep here. Beneath the bonnet lies a ferocious 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild hybrid V8 engine, churning out 452kW and 750Nm of torque. With a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 261 km/h, the Orpheus Edition is as dynamic as it is refined, boasting a towing capacity of 3,500kg to cater to even the most adventurous owners.

Range Rover’s attention to detail goes beyond the car itself. To honour the surrounding reef and Indigenous heritage, each client receives a custom-made sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor. The piece, inspired by the Ocean Sentinels installation and Indigenous leader Jayme Marshal, celebrates the sacred connection between land, sea, and culture.

Penny Ferguson, Managing Director of JLR Australia, remarked, “Our Australian clients’ love for coastal living inspired this bespoke creation. The Orpheus Edition is a tribute to both the elegance of Range Rover and the awe-inspiring natural wonders of Orpheus Island.”

The Range Rover House retreat, open exclusively from November 29 to December 5, is a rare fusion of design, nature, and luxury—a fitting stage for the unveiling of a vehicle that redefines bespoke automotive artistry. If ever there was a car that captured the allure of a luxury island getaway, the Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition is it. Now, who’s ready to queue for the privilege of driving this dream on wheels?
