2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio- 3.9 Second 0-100

Ahead of our full review, we answer a few quick questions.

Can Giulia Quadrifoglio really be a good daily driver?

This was one of the most asked questions when Alfa revealed the 375kw monster Giulia. It can be treated with care, and a gentle foot, and is as easy to use as the lesser-powered Alfa Romeo Giulias.

The driver aids include a camera, so parking is simple, but decent 360° view would be better.

Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio power, is it enough or too much?

The Giulia Quadrifoglio is a brute in a dinner suit. 3.9 seconds to 100kph, in a rear-wheel-drive car weighing 1585kg, feels must faster than it might look. We were surprised AWD wasn’t an option, but it gives Alfa Giulia Romeo Quadrifoglio a lively feel in corners.

The next most powerful Giulia has 206kw, which is plenty for most drivers.

Is Giulia Quadrifoglio Comfortable?

Although the nifty drive modes change suspension settings, the ride is firm. DNA settings also include a Race Mode, which is for those who enjoy a track day.

Sport mode makes firm ride even firmer, and is definitely a challenge in Sydney roads.

Sport seats add to the firm ride and after an hour in the saddle, some fettling of the backrest was required. Lumbar support and side bolsters can be tailored to personal preference.

Is Giulia Quadrifoglio worth $138,950?

That is a big ask in anyone’s language. It is on a par with the aesthetically-challenged BMW M 4 for power, which is around 20k more expensive. The Alfa is 240kg lighter than the portly Beamer.

There are those will always prefer a C63/M4/RS5, even if it is just for the bragging rights.
