Audi has taken its high-performance EV game to a whole new level with the unveiling of the 2025 e-tron GT range, headlined by the blistering RS e-tron GT performance – now the most powerful production car in Audi history. Joining the updated S e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT, this new trio resets the benchmark for all-electric grand tourers.
With up to 680kW on boost and 1,027Nm of torque, the RS performance variant launches from 0–100km/h in a staggering 2.5 seconds. That’s quicker than most supercars – and it does it in near silence. The base S e-tron GT is no slouch either, matching the original RS e-tron GT’s output with 500kW on boost and a 0–100km/h time of 3.4 seconds. The RS sits comfortably in the middle, with 630kW on boost and 865Nm, dispatching the sprint in just 3.1 seconds.
Audi hasn’t stopped at speed. All three models now benefit from a lighter and more energy-dense 105kWh battery, delivering improved range – up to 559km (WLTP) in the S e-tron GT. Charging has also seen a leap forward: now up to 320kW, drivers can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes under ideal conditions.

The driving experience is equally evolved. Audi introduces a new “push-to-pass” boost function for overtaking, while launch control has been beefed up across the board. Braking recuperation has jumped to 400kW, and a redesigned five-link suspension system paired with either air suspension (standard on S and RS) or active suspension (standard on RS performance) ensures this GT handles as confidently as it accelerates.
Design-wise, the trio stays true to Audi’s sleek GT silhouette but gains sharper edges, new paint colours (including Nimbus Grey and Bedford Green), and bigger wheels – 20-inch for the S, 21-inch for RS variants. Standard features include HD Matrix LED headlights with laser light, adaptive air suspension, privacy glass, and all-wheel steering for enhanced agility at speed or in tight city spaces.
Inside, the cabins are clad in Nappa leather, with ventilated, massaging front seats, a flat-bottom heated steering wheel, and Bang & Olufsen 3D premium audio. There’s also Audi’s latest infotainment suite with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a head-up display, and Audi virtual cockpit plus.
Safety tech is comprehensive: adaptive cruise, traffic jam assist, lane keeping, intersection assist, and 360-degree cameras are all standard. Dual charge ports and an 11kW AC onboard charger further simplify the EV experience.
For those wanting more, optional design and performance packages offer extras like carbon ceramic brakes, custom inlays, interior colour stitching options, and even a switchable panoramic roof that turns opaque at the touch of a button. The top-tier RS e-tron GT performance also gets a special performance drive mode, bespoke RS-specific sound, and active suspension as standard.
Peace of mind comes standard too: all models include six years of scheduled servicing, six years roadside assist, and a one-year Chargefox public charging subscription. Audi also includes a five-year vehicle warranty, eight-year/160,000km battery warranty, and access to Audi Experience, the brand’s national loyalty program.
The 2025 e-tron GT range to hit Australian showrooms shortly. Pricing starts from $209,900 for the S e-tron GT*, $264,900 for the RS e-tron GT*, and $309,900 for the RS e-tron GT performance*.
