All New LEXUS NX Almost Here: Here’s What to Expect

One of our favourite SUVs is getting an All-New model in January, the LEXUS NX.

The all-new Lexus NX will arrive in late January representing next-generation Lexus design, technology and performance with the debut of the incredible Tazuna cockpit concept, new safety and connectivity standards, plus four advanced powertrains.

NX powertrains include a 430Nm turbocharged engine, an all-new 5.0L/100k hybrid-electric system and a flagship 227kW plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). There will also be an entry level direct-injected four-cylinder petrol engine, the NX 250, priced from $60,8002.

The NX 350h is an additional $4,800, from $65,600. NX 350 comes in all-wheel drive only, with a high-output turbocharged petrol priced from $77,900 and finally, NX 450h+ PHEV starts from $89,9002.

There are enhancement (aka option) packs, as well as technologies brand new to the model, including: safe exit assist (SEA) using new e-latch electrically activated doorhandles using blind spot monitor to detect cyclists or vehicles passing close to the vehicle and can keep the door closed to avoid a collision3.
