BMW iX M60 is set to appear in Australian shores in the middle of 2022. iX M60 will be the 3rd BMW iX from BMW M after the BMW i4 M50 arrived in March. iX M60 packs a punch with up to 455kW/1100Nm and a 0- 100km/h in 3.8-seconds and on to a top speed of 250km/h. The iX M60 has a range of 566 km of driving range according to the WLTP test cycle.
Other significant inclusions is the latest BMW Operating System 8 with its Curved Display and voice communication that comes with BMW’s Intelligent Personal Assistant.
BMW iX M60 relies heavily on access to the net, with Remote Software via over-the-air updates, and navigation with the cloud-based BMW Maps system and Augmented Reality. The BMW iX is uses 5G capable connectivity.
Battery and charging system
The BMW iX M60 has a 112kWh EV battery that charges up to 11kW on AC, and up to 200kW on fast DC chargers. This is some way behind the Hyundai IONIQ6 and KIA EV6 which charge at up to 350kW.
BMW iX M60 will go from 10 to 80 % in 35 minutes in the fast charger, or you can get a quick up to 150 kilometres top up in just 10 minutes to make highway driving a bit easier.

Design
The iX M60’s has brake callipers in dark blue with M logo, with BMW Individual Titanium Bronze Exterior Line and M logos in the new High Gloss Black/Titanium Bronze finish on the front side panels and the rear of the vehicle.
New 22-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels with an exclusive Titanium Bronze design will also be available for the iX M60.
Drivers have multifunction seats have integrated headrests, a large BMW Curved Display, topped off by a hexagonal steering wheel.
There is a flat floor centre, so there is extra legroom, and a huge amount of storage space in the centre console.
The optional Suite interior is a no cost option, with olive leaf extract tanned natural leather seats, instrument panel, centre console and door trim surfaces, as well as Gold Bronze surfaces and controls.
An M logo is shown in the left-hand area of the information display regardless of the selected display layout and the activated My Mode.
Sound is via the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System as standard. Also standard is: BMW Laserlight, Interior Applications Clear&Bold, Parking Assistant Professional, Interior Camera, Comfort Access. The Heat Comfort Package as an option costing $3,500.
Australian pricing and specification
The BMW iX M60 is priced at $222,900* and will arrive in Australia carrying a high level of specification and array of luxury and convenience features.

Alloy wheel program
Three 22-inch wheel designs are available for iX M60 at no cost to the customer. One wheel design, the 22-inch M aerodynamic wheel 1023 Bicolour Titanium Bronze 3D polished buff, is new and will be added to the iX line-up in time for the iX M60’s arrival.
