Capped Price Servicing to become standard equipment on all Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles

Volkswagen is pleased to announce the roll-out of its highly competitive Capped Price Service Program across the entire Passenger Vehicle range with effect from 28 March 2013.

The program was first introduced on the up! in October last year and this is the next step for Volkswagen as it reinforces its position in the aftersales segment.

Encompassing a total of six years or 90,000km (whichever comes first), the Volkswagen Capped Price Service Program features one of the longest coverage periods in the market.

A scheduled service in the Volkswagen Capped Price Service Program includes the regular replacement of oil filters, engine oil and sump plug washer at each service interval, as well as the standard replacement of the air filter (at 45,000 and 90,000 km) and spark plugs (every 60,000km).

The Volkswagen Capped Price Service Program, together with a competitive Volkswagen Warranty and Volkswagen Roadside Assist, provides an extremely comprehensive package and offers customers piece of mind when purchasing a Volkswagen.

Capped Price Servicing will apply to all Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles sold through the Australian Volkswagen Dealer Network from 1 January 2013. The program will also apply to up! sold since 6 October 2012, The Beetle vehicles sold since 23 February 2013 and will also include the Golf 7 once on sale from 27 April 2013.
