To mark the occasion, VIN 001 of the Edition 1 GMC HUMMER EV went to a charity auction on March 27, 2021. The Barrett-Jackson auction saw the very first Ummer EV go for an eye-watering $2.5 million USD. The money will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a Sept. 11 charity dedicated to first responder Stephen Siller.
