2026 Chery Stockman Reservations Open With a Bunnings Card

Chery Stockman reservations opened online on 1 October 2026, and anyone who gets in before official sales start receives a $2,000 Bunnings gift card and 3 years of free servicing.

The pre-launch offer from Chery covers anyone who reserves a Stockman online between 1 October and the day official sales begin. One half is 3 years/45,000km of scheduled servicing at no cost. The other half is the voucher, part of an exclusive Bunnings partnership Chery set up for the launch. A hardware-store gift card attached to a dual-cab ute is about as on-message as a launch offer gets.

Deliveries start from 1 February 2027. Terms and conditions apply, and the full details are provided at the time of reservation. How very James Bond.

“We’ve had a phenomenal response to the Stockman since the first announcement,” said Lucas Harris, Chery’s Chief Operating Officer.

Reserving a Chery Stockman Without a Price

There’s no price yet, and Chery’s announcement gives no reservation deposit figure either. Prices and further specification details to follow, along with the date official sales start. It has all the hallmarks of a Gen Z spitballing session.

So anyone reserving a Chery Stockman now is putting their name down for a ute without knowing what it costs.

What the Stockman Brings to the Dual-Cab Fight

The hardware is known from our earlier Chery Stockman coverage. It uses a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel plug-in hybrid Chery calls Super Hybrid, with combined outputs of 350kW/800Nm and up to 100km of electric-only driving. That makes it a diesel answer to the petrol plug-in BYD Shark 6, with Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux the other obvious targets.

It’s 5,450mm long on a 3,250mm wheelbase, with at least 247mm of ground clearance and diff locks on both axles plus the centre. Braked towing is rated at 3,500kg.

The ute’s name came out of a public vote of more than 12,000 people, and the chassis tune is getting a local hand. Premcar, the Melbourne firm behind Nissan’s Warrior utes, is validating Chery’s ride and handling tune for the Stockman on Australian roads.
