Ford Everest, Renault Pricing , and Mitsubishi Outlander News

The All-new Mitsubishi Outlander has impressed media and customers alike since its November 2021 introduction.

Due to ongoing supply constraints and increasing material, manufacturing and logistical costs, Mitsubishi Motors Australia has adjusted certain Outlander models’ standard specification for the 22.5 model year.

This decision was taken to optimise production and minimise supply delays for Outlander customers.

“The All-new Mitsubishi Outlander remains the best-equipped vehicle we have ever sold in Australia, boasting a newly developed platform and powertrain, bold and distinctive exterior styling and a refined interior with high-end finishes,” said Shaun Westcott, Mitsubishi Australia CEO.

“These changes to 22.5MY Outlander specification ensure Mitsubishi Motors Australia can secure timely production in these popular grades for our dealer network and customers,” he said.

Increased material, manufacturing and logistical costs have resulted in a $500 price increase for the 22.5MY Outlander Exceed, and a $1000 price increase for the Exceed Tourer. These models are now priced from $48,490 RRP (Exceed) and $50,990 RRP (Exceed Tourer). The high-grade Outlander Exceed’s and flagship Exceed Tourer’s specifications remain unchanged.

The 22.5MY Outlander range retains the 2022 five-star ANCAP safety rating. First arrivals are expected in Australian showrooms from April, 2022.

Renault announces Price Increases

The Renault passenger and commercial range of vehicles will see price rises from 1 March 2022.

“2022 marks the start of our first full year of stewardship of the Renault brand in Australia,” says Glen Sealey, Renault Australia General Manager.

“Like many brands in Australia, Renault have had to increase prices due to significant material and shipping cost changes over recent months.

“We know, however, that the Renault range still represents a premium European offering combined with genuine value thanks to its high-levels of safety, technology and cutting-edge design. With strategic additions like the Arkana R.S. Line, we’re broadening the Renault range in preparation for the product offensive coming soon with a refreshed commercial range, the all-new Megane E-Tech in 2023 and much more to come.”

The new pricing is applicable on all models from 1 March 2022.
