Ipswich plays host to Fiat Nationals 2013

Today, Fiat enthusiasts will descend upon Queensland Raceway to celebrate their passion for the Fiat automobile at the 2013 Fiat Nationals Australia event.

The annual affair celebrates the unique car maker and attracts motoring devotees from around Australia as they come together to share their passion for the Fiat brand with a weekend full of competitive and social events.

This year Ipswich Motorsport Precinct, Willowbank, will play host.

Salters Ipswich Fiat and Alfa Romeo General Manager, Mark Thompson, said, “We’re really excited to welcome Fiat Nationals to Ipswich. The event has a strong history and we are thrilled to be involved.”

The weekend encompasses a timed sprint at Queensland Raceway tomorrow, with the 50th running of the ‘Fiat of Italy Cup’ Autokhana and Show ‘n’ Shine competition on Sunday, plus a vast collection of images and motorsport paraphernalia.

Salters Ipswich recently added Fiat and Alfa Romeo to their brand offerings which include Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, and will showcase the Abarth 695, Tributo Ferrari and an Alfa Romeo Guilietta at the event.
