Jaguar F-TYPE’s final Model Year is sale from early 2023. Only 2 models will be available: F-TYPE 75 or F-TYPE R 75 special editions.
Matthew Beaven, Jaguar Land Rover Chief Designer, Exteriors, said; “For 75 years Jaguar has been renowned for producing extraordinary sports cars that deliver performance, agility and maximum driver reward. The F-TYPE special editions hold true to these principles, adding unique interior and exterior design details to celebrate this lineage before Jaguar becomes an all-electric brand from 2025.”
Design
The Jaguar F-TYPE takes the stiff aluminium body’s flowing lines from Jaguar’s sports cars of the past, a past starting with the XK120. At launch in 1948, it was the world’s fastest production car.
LED headlights have Pixel technology with the ‘Calligraphy’ J signature daytime running lights and sweeping direction indicators that we come to recognise.
F-TYPE 75 and F-TYPE R 75 have their own special badging on the front guards.
20-inch wheels are standard, with the F-TYPE R 75 gaining a gloss black diamond-turned 10-spoke designs.
The 2 seater has a 12.3-inch Driver Display, with selectable themes, a pulsing red ‘heartbeat’ of start button, and deployable centre air vents.
The F-TYPE 75 and R 75 models are distinguished by the unique silhouette motif on the Engine Spin centre console finisher and stainless steel tread plates, while the Interior Black Pack is another subtle enhancement.
Other detailing signifies the final two models, inside and out.
F-TYPE continues the Double wishbone front and rear suspension, tuned electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) and Torque Vectoring by braking.
