In a glorious nod to motorsport royalty, Lotus has pulled the covers off the Emira Clark Edition — a breathtaking tribute to the late, great Jim Clark, one of the most celebrated racing drivers in history. Limited to just 60 units worldwide, this exclusive model will make its global debut at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, leading the charge in unmistakable style.
Born from a partnership with the Jim Clark Trust, the Emira Clark Edition celebrates Clark’s iconic 1965 season — a year in which he clinched the Formula 1 World Championship, conquered the Indianapolis 500, and triumphed in the Tasman Series, Formula 2, and even touring car races in a Lotus Cortina. That’s right, the man was a one-person pit lane of pure excellence.
The Emira Clark Edition is drenched in nostalgia and dripping with detail. Finished in Clark Racing Green with a contrasting black roof, silver mirrors, and an Indy-inspired yellow racing stripe, it nods to the legendary Lotus Type 38 Clark piloted to victory at the Brickyard. A yellow pinstripe along the swage line, bespoke “Clark Edition” branding on the doors, and yellow exhaust pipes round out the retro-racing aesthetic.

Inside, it’s a motorsport love letter: red leather and Alcantara® driver’s seat, black leather and Alcantara® for the passenger, and a sixties-style wooden gear knob that makes you want to light a pipe and quote Sir Jackie Stewart. A carbon-fibre plaque marks each car’s exclusivity (1 of 60), while Jim Clark’s signature, Scottish tartan trim, and a bespoke leather holdall are the cherry on this historic sundae.
Under the bonnet, the Emira Clark Edition channels proper Lotus DNA — powered by a 3.5L supercharged V6, belting out 400hp through a six-speed manual and limited-slip diff. Expect raw hydraulic steering, a rorty exhaust, and the Lotus Driver’s Pack as standard, including track mode and sport suspension. It’s every bit the driver’s car you’d want it to be.
With pricing set at £115,000 in the UK and €140,000 in Germany, the Emira Clark Edition is aimed squarely at collectors, petrolheads, and lovers of motorsport heritage. And frankly, we’re gagging to get our hands on one — if only to match our race boots to that tartan interior.
For more details, head to the Lotus Media Site and prepare to fall in love with the perfect marriage of past glory and present performance.
