Winter i*cept evo 2 tyres, size: 195/45 R18 87H XL are available on special 18-inch John Cooper Works light-alloy wheels. This gives the high-powered JCW good handling in winter road conditions. MINI John Cooper Works GP is a limited run of just 3 000 cars. The special wheels and tyres complement the suspension technology, tuned to the car’s extrememe performance.

Mini JCW has a twin turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with 225 kW/306 hp and a 450Nm of torque. It drives the front wheels, through an 8-speed Steptronic transmission, enhanced by an integrated differential lock.

The mechanical differential lock works with the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) to act as a transverse lock to reduce the speed difference between the right and left front wheels. Under load demand, a blocking effect of up to 31 percent can be generated. It also counteracts a loss of traction when road friction varies, where a higher proportion of the goes to the wheel with the better grip. This prevents oversteer.

Good handling, and stellar performance work with four-piston fixed-calliper disc brakes on the front wheels and single-piston fist-calliper disc brakes on the rear wheels, to stop as fast as it goes.

The MINI John Cooper Works GP gets a unique roof spoiler with a double-wing, and carbon-fibre wheel arch trims with matt CFRP finish. There is individual numbering also make it a fascinatingly exceptional vehicle.

There is nothing like a few extras to give your car a bit of gravitas.
