PEUGEOT now taking pre-orders for the Electric e-2008 SUV


e-2008 costs a hefty $59,990, with a small number of units landing in Australia  in the 3rd quarter of 2023 .

The modest 50 kWh battery powers a 100kW/260Nm electric motor for an anticipated range of 328km WLTP.

e-2008 will charge in ½ an hour from 0-80% at a maximum 100kW DC unit.

An 11kw three Phase 16A unit will charge e-2008 to 0-100% in five hours, or  7.7 hours using a single Phase 7.4kW 32A Wallbox that you may find at home.

Kate Gillis, Managing Director PEUGEOT Australia, commented: “The e-2008 is going to be an important and eagerly anticipated addition to the local range as we continue on our electrification journey.

“The impending arrival will signify our first fully electric passenger vehicle on sale in Australia and provides us with the opportunity to further expand on the success of the premium 2008 SUV range.
