With prices rises across the board, Subaru Australia has stated buyers who have already placed order for Subarus, will have those quoted prices protected. In other words, the price they signed for is the price they will pay.
New car buyers know that some orders for other brands have had increases applied to orders already signed and sealed.
The world has seen vast increases in costs to create their vehicles, and in shipping them around the world. and logistics results in a price adjustment for select Subaru models.
As of the 5th of May 2022, Subaru Outback, XV and Impreza will increase by $800 in all models.
These increases were previously applied to models in the WRX range, including the coupé and Sportswagon.

Subaru bosses have been keen to point out that their priority is delivering an exceptional customer experience. They went on to state that all alternatives were taken into account before any rises are considered.
It is worth noting that most new car prices have increased, and no brand is immune.
