20: 2024 Wrangler Jeep Rubicon

Unchanged from last year, 2024 Wrangler Jeep Rubicon remains a crowd favourite. This year the natty 2 door Wrangler got the onceover. Made famous by Queer as Folk 2 decades ago, the gay community wrapped their arms round the Jeep in a way only we can.

19: 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ Luxury is the Tesla-beater for those wanting posh. There is a ton of American swagger about this bougie barge but it would be a mistake to dismiss the Cadillac without a bum on a seat.

18: 2025 Tesla Model Y AWD FULL REVIEW inc Light Show

The 2025 Model Y AWD brings more range, a plush new interior, smarter tech, and a dramatically quieter ride. We dive into the Cybertruck-inspired styling, improved suspension, acoustic glass, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and the enhanced glass roof that reflects 7x more heat. Plus, Autopilot HW4.0, new blind-spot cameras, and that massive 1.6m light bar. Starting from $68,900 in Australia, this is the Model Y that finally feels complete.

17:2025 ZEEKR X AWD

We spent two weeks with the gorgeous 2025 ZEEKR X AWD – Volvo EX30’s flamboyant sibling – and it turned out to be one hell of an electric love story. This luxury EV is fast (0-100 in 3.8s), fun, and fabulous, but not without drama. Think plush cabin, AR head-up display, clever tech… and then bong. And another bong. You get the idea.

16: 2025 Mazda MX-5 RF GT RS – Is This the Last Great Roadster?

In a world dominated by beige SUVs and soulless EVs, the 2025 Mazda MX-5 RF GT RS stands tall as a glittering ode to pure driving pleasure. With a zingy 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, slick 6-speed manual, Bilstein shocks, and Brembo brakes, this pocket rocket is everything we love about motoring—raw, real, and ridiculously fun. We take the roof down, grab our favourite boy, and hit the twisties to find out why the MX-5 RF GT RS still matters. From its old-school charm to its razor-sharp handling, this isn’t just a car—it’s a mood.

15: 2025 Kia EV3 GT Line FWD

oin us as we take the all-new 2025 Kia EV3 GT-Line for a spin and ask the big question: is this stylish compact electric SUV the real deal, or just a tech-packed toy? With sleek Scandi-inspired interiors, clever V2L power features, and a range that’ll get you from the suburbs to the coast (and back), the EV3 is out to challenge both budget EVs and premium players.

14: 2025 smart #3 Brabus 0 to 100 in 3.7

At under 2 tonnes, the smart #3 is pretty light for a modern EV, and yet the Brabus version will hit 0–100 in a very cheeky 3.7 seconds. The Exterior It’s pretty low-key. I’ll admit, it wasn’t love at first sight. The little hatch blends into the background with just the slightest hints of Brabus-ness. But it grows on you fast.

13: Volvo EX90 Ultra THE BMW KILLER

The sublime Volvo EX90 Ultra is the new electric gentleman’s shooting brake. he seven-seater bears a striking resemblance to the CX90, but its tail lights are borrowed from the EX30, and the Hammer of Thor headlights now feature a theatrical flourish. They split along a hidden central axis to reveal bright LED beams. Only the subtle badging hints at the electric marvels wrapped within.

12: 2024 Polestar 4

Polestar 4 is also not quite perfect. Here is my list of the top 10 things I love and hate: 1: phone charger – quick acceleration see the phone shoot out of the cradle 2: auto connect – refuses to reliably auto connect to CarPlay 3: mystery alerts – all the gongs sound the same, few visual indications 4: good ride/handling – firm ride and competent handling

11: 2024 Corvette Stingray Convertible Review Alan Zurvas Ryan Brooks

here’s a healthy 369kw/637Nm in the RWD “entry level” 2LT and 3LT models, with the 5.5L “Z06” putting out a head-banging 488kw/595Nm. Deeper pockets can spring for the Corvette E-Ray, a stonking E-AWD Coupé good for 488kw/806Nm. It glues the 6.2L V8 onto the back axel, and a 119kw/169Nm electric motor to the front one and yes, all Corvettes come with the same 8-speed double-clutcher. The beauty of an E-AWD is that there are two cars in one. The front wheels do the work when the 1.9kWh battery is full and max power is not required. The rear wheels use the V8 and all wheels work in tandem when the full choir is singing.

10: 2024 Abarth 500e Exceeds Expectations

Abarth 500e has a load of sex appeal. We drove the equally charismatic Fiat 500e last year, and loved it. The cheeky little Italian lives up to an expectation of being fun yet functional, but the Abarth version is expected to fan that ember into a warming fire. In regular Abarth 500s, the burble from its inner sanctum helps the visceral juices flow. The electric Abarth lacks such aural inducements

9: 2025 Honda Civic e:HEV Review

The delightful Civic just had a tiny make-over only a couple of years after its launch. as handsome, long, and low as ever. The all-hybrid line-up delivers us an e:Hev L and e:Hev LX, and we tested the e:Hev LX in all its glory. For $55,900 drive-away, there is no HUD, something standard in 40k cars. The driver’s dials deal the dirt with 10.2” LED screen flanked by some rather awkward LEDs for other data. A 9” infotainment touch screen has Google built in, but it may as well excised.

8: 2024 Mercedes Benz EQE 300 SUV

When Mercedes-Benz brought out the EQE sedan, it seemed that the Mercedes was back baby. he EQE SUV is a trifle shorter than her sedan sister, but every bit as pert. In fact, so clever is the packaging that SUV feels more spacious, and is similarly cornucopia’d with all manner of modern glory. Although MB EQ has a more luxurious model, the EQE SUV range starts with a respectable 300 model. Our EQE 300 SUV test car had one or two tasty extras, the best bits to be found inside the monumental cocoon. That’s not to say the smooth exterior lacks any kind of finesse.

7: 2024 Audi RS E-Tron GT

Audi 3.3 second RS E-Tron GT My New Favourite Car. f Audi’s sizzling 4.1 second E-Tron GT gets your boy-juices flowing, then the 3.3 second RS E-Tron GT will have you reaching for the Kleenex, in a thoroughly wholesome and G-Rated kind of way of course. While some Audis have deliciously filthy V8’s that make you cry with yearning, GT e-Tron RS fans that yearning into a roaring blaze. It has a couple of hefty electric motors glued into its gusset that make those testosterone-laden man-magnets blush with embarrassment.

6: 2025 MG Cyberster AWD Fun and Fabulous HERE’S WHY

MG Cyberster Review – Saucy Scissor Doors, 375kW, and Drama for Days. he MG Cyberster is here and she’s serving scissor doors, 375kW of EV power, and more drama than a Mardi Gras float on Oxford Street. We took her for a spin along the Sea Cliff Bridge and through the Royal National Park to see if this $115K electric convertible is all flair and no follow-through — or the fabulous queer icon we’ve been waiting for. Spoiler: it’s both.

5: 2024 Chevrolet Silverado

Silverado 1500 has a GVM of 3300 made up of the 2552kg Silverado and a payload of 748kg. That may sound like a lot but once you have 5 beefy blokes on board, that’s only a few hundred kilos left over for 6-packs.

4:  2025 GMC Yukon Denali – a Limo SUV

he 2025 GMC Yukon Denali has landed Down Under — and it’s absolutely massive. With a thunderous 6.2L V8, plush air suspension, and Walkinshaw’s slick RHD conversion, this full-size American brute brings muscle, swagger, and surprising luxury to Aussie streets. Inside? Think presidential suite with massage seats and twin rear screens. Outside? A rolling monument to excess with 24” wheels and retractable steps. It’s loud, proud, and unapologetically extra – just how we like it.

32025 Kia Sportage SX HEV Hybrid Review: Sexy, Brutal, and Thirsty

ome find Kia’s 2025 Sportage HEV too brutal, I think it is just Mad Max enough to gird my loins. Unlike Honda’s fabulously sophisticated electric eCVT, a moniker it never should have had (because it isn’t a CVT, electric or otherwise), Kia glued a 6-speed automatic in instead. Thankfully there is no sign of a fun-sapping conventional CVT. A CVT succubusly suck the life force out of everything their hideous tentacles touch.

2: 2024 Nissan Patrol Warrior

remcar has gotten at the entry level Nissan Patrol Ti, raised it, buffed it up, bash-plated it, and made it about as butch as possible, in fact, a Warrior. Patrol Warrior has had a $3,000 price increase since its launch so is it worthwhile? It is worth it if you want to take all the comforts of home with you. Patrol Warrior is comfy hotel suite on wheels that is a perfect place to rest a bit even in the most remote of destinations, yet it is in town where the Patrol Warrior will rest its weary wheels the most. What is Patrol Warrior like to live with day-today?

1: 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV

The Alfa spirit is captured perfectly in a sporty sedan or coupé, but does a PHEV SUV still fit the bill? Tonale PHEV took a while to endear itself to me, yet a few hours in the saddle revealed Tonale’s adorable best. Like many European vehicles, the Tonale range has a part-battery-powered driveline and the PHEV version takes it a step further
