The Top 20 Gay and Lesbian Cars as Voted by You, the Reader.
There were quite a few surprises this year, as Forester fell off the list for the first time. Audi scored well, as did VW, with Mazda getting a wagon mention. Who knew?

Now there is the Gladiator too. What’s not to like?

Elegant With Bite.
One of the best looking convertibles on the market, and is the most viewed story for convertibles over the last few years. It has a 4 cylinder turbo engine, and one of the very few AWD droptops on the market

One of 2 Hot Hatches that made it onto the list. Golf R is an AWD Hot Hatch that ia trackworthy. Click the link above for the full story.

VW’s Golf mk8 GTI was out biggest story this year. Volkswagen kicked a winner with one of the best cars on the road, and always a favourite with gay and lesbian drivers.

Landcruiser is one of the world’s most popular full 4WD SUVs. Gay campers can take the kitchen sink on this trip.

It is sweet, it is petite, and it is a bunch of fun. Gay buyers tell us they love BMW’s 2 series, and in particular the Gran Coupe. It is rare enough for that touch of exclusivity. BMW Feels compelled to fill every single auto niche with an offering, and the 2 Series Gran Coupe sits where the 4 series Gran Coupe once did, sort of.

I’d like an HUD (heads up display), even is just speed and directions shown. The central tablet remains a constant annoyance. There is a lever to unlock the doors, but Model 3 gets the irrits if you don’t use the electric button release on the armrest instead.

Is Volvo’s XC40 Hybrid the Ultimate Gay Viking? FULL REVIEW: https://gaycarboys.com/is-volvo-xc40-recharge-hybrid-a-real-viking/car-reviews-by-brand/volvo-reviews/ When the Vikings packed long boats with big beefy blokes, they concentrated on a light spot or rape and pillage. Despite their big weapons, they were always considered safety first, so had big horny hats to protect their noggins. Swedish Volvo might now be a Chinese-owned car maker, but safety is still their first concern.

Everyone knows the way to really impress your date is with a $hit-hot car, like a blazing fast Audi SQ8. We took the big Audi up the old road over Brokeback Mountain. Sorry, typo. Of course, I meant Razorback Mountain. Like many capable creations before it, the big Audi ate the K’s like a kid in a candy shop.

11: 2021 VW Passat Alltrack Review 4Motion
Passat Alltrack is Volkswagen’s long, low, elegant answer to a question no one seems to be asking, and that’s a great shame. Passat Alltrack is an AWD take on the regular, already sexy, Passat wagon. But, it isn’t for everyone. Passat Alltrack is regal, well appointed, drives beautifully, and is reasonably frugal.

10: 2021 Subaru WRX STI R Spec Review
The Engine is a flat-four (aka horizontally opposed, boxer) with 221kw/407Nm. The sound is throaty without the mad cackle you get in some brands. Give it a bootful, then as you back off to change gears, the waste valve hisses deeply. It is tasteful, as long as it hasn’t been got at by chavs in fake Versace.

We took the 152kw coupe up the back road to the blue mountains to relive a 2014 road test we did in a duo-drive review with Pro_Cee’d GT and Toyota’s 86. BRZ and 86 are twin sisters, the issue of an after dinner strump by Subaru and Toyota. This terrific twosome came close second to Pro_Cee’d GT in our Car of the Year awards for 2014. In fact, it was so close that you couldn’t have fitted a schmear of Pâté between them.

If you’re a sexy, bare-chested tradie, read on:
BT50 comes in 3 models XT, XTR, and GT. You get 2 body styles, in a 2-seater cab chassis, or a 5-seater dual cab. There is a single engine choice, and 2 transmissions, a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. This makes up 11 variants in all.

R8 engineering deep within the snarling V10, hides 449kw/560Nm of instant power. The 1595kg coupe gets to 100 in 3.2 seconds. We started with a briefing. The day was periodically damp, and a moist track can be a challenge. Steve Pizzati introduced his drivers, including Melinda Price. After each of the 5 R/RS models had been driven, and skid pan slaloms complete, Melinda and I headed out for a hot lap.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is special in a way that is rare in the motoring world. It has an unfakable X factor that is a mix brains, brawn, and bulk sex-appeal.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Let’s start with the range which gives us 3 models: a base model “Sport”, a midrange Veloce, which is the is the sweet spot, and range-topping Quadrifoglio, a head-banging thug of a thing. While the Quadrifoglio may be a thug, but is a thug in a dinner suit and velvet slippers.

The 2021 Subaru Outback is all new from the ground up. It sports a new platform, new look, new interior and engine choices and transmissions are now limited to a single option. Subaru thought long and hard about one of their best cars. It is now their only large car with the dumping of the slow selling Liberty (AKA Legacy) recently. Outback is a big lassie that sits 213mm off the ground. It has symmetrical AWD, and a ballsy 2.5 boxer. Gone is the flat-six and diesel, leaving just the 2.5 non-turbo boxer.

I took my Audi E Tron for a run down to a friend’s cottage in Picton. On a home socket, you need a full 48 hours to get a lousy 250km. The drive down saw us lashed by biblical storms, and a high in the single digits. One good thing about electric cars is the heating is instant. However, imagine running a one-bar fire on a battery. The whole thing turning turtle.

We are driving in an Audi RS 7 Sportback this week, and we simply had to make a quick comment on the infotainment system. The video review is coming, where we’ll take you on a tour of this thug in a dinner suit. Programming the damned thing that makes you want to run screaming from the room. We were in the quirky Peugeot 508 last week, and it was moody to programme too. At least you could find things without needing big hugs, and a G and T. The RS 7 costs many monies, and $260,000 and some change, gets you and awful lot of car. RS 7 does everything but run you a hot bath, so why is the infotainment system so complex?

Mazda rejigged their nomenclatures in the early 2000’s, when the 626 became the Mazda 6. Since 2002 there have been 3 generations of the Japanese mid-size sedan/wagon. In 2007 the second generation landed, followed by the 3rd iteration in 2012. That means 9 years for the current model, which is rather elderly for a car design. It had a nip and tuck during that time, so still looks as fresh as a spring morning.

Forester has fallen off our top spot. This year,2008 is Peugeot’s best kept secret. 2008 comes in 2 models, the Allure, and range topping GT Sport. People buy SUVs with the idea of heading off into the yonder for some shootin, fishin, ‘n huntin. They never get farther afield than the gravel carpark at a country pub. Why then, is there such an obsession with AWD?
