The new, updated S90 model range is available exclusively with Volvo’s highly efficient and powerful Recharge Plug-in Hybrid T8 petrol-electric powertrain; for used car customers, the choice also includes Volvo’s Drive-E petrol and diesel engines.
Announcing the award tonight (Friday, 5 February), broadcaster and used car guru Mike Brewer said: “The S90 is a cracking car. I love the looks, it’s great value on the used market, and the premium driving experience, refinement and Swedish touches are wonderful.”
James Baggott, Car Dealer Editor in Chief, added: “We’re massive fans of Volvo at Car Dealer, and what the manufacturer has achieved over the past few years with the rejuvenation of the brand is nothing short of remarkable. We’d recommend Volvos, like the S90, over their rivals time and time again because they’re simply very, very good.”
David Chesterman, Volvo Car UK Used Car Programme Manager, said: “The executive car market has always been fiercely contested, and this award is welcome confirmation of the qualities that set the S90 apart and continue to make it an appealing choice for used car customers. It’s an even more compelling proposition when acquired with the extensive quality guarantees provided by our Volvo Selekt approved-used car service.”
Volvo Selekt gives customers access to the best pre-owned Volvo models, including the S90 saloon. Available through Volvo’s UK retailers, it provides complete customer peace of mind, with all vehicles undergoing more than 150 separate checks prior to being offered for sale.

Customers also have a 30-day/1,500-mile exchange guarantee to ensure they are totally satisfied with their purchase. Terms and conditions apply.
