Farizon V7E Australia: Geely’s Electric Van Takes on the Transit and HiAce

If you have never heard of Farizon, you are not alone. But Geely’s commercial vehicle arm has just lobbed a rather interesting grenade into Australia’s light commercial market, and it is worth paying attention.

The Farizon V7E is an electric van built for the sort of operators who care more about payload than prestige. It arrives through Jameel Motors Australia (the same mob distributing GAC AION) with deliveries starting May 2026 and full pricing due in April.

How much does the 2026 Farizon V7E cost in Australia?

Pricing has not been announced yet. Farizon and Jameel Motors will confirm Australian specifications, variants and pricing in April 2026. What we do know is the brand is positioning itself squarely at “price-conscious couriers, contractors, sole traders and fleet operators.”

Given Farizon’s work-first pitch and Jameel Motors’ aggressive pricing on the AION UT ($31,990), expect the V7E to undercut established players significantly.

What are the Farizon V7E specs?

The numbers that matter for commercial operators are promising:

The 1,300kg payload puts it on par with entry-level ICE vans, which is the point. Farizon is not trying to sell you on electrification as a lifestyle choice. They are selling it as a way to cut fuel and servicing costs while doing the same job you were doing before.

The 6.95 cubic metres of cargo volume, low rear loading height and tight turning circle suggest this is genuinely designed around urban delivery work rather than retrofitted from a passenger platform.

Who is Farizon?

Farizon is Geely Holding Group’s commercial vehicle brand, focused on electric logistics and delivery vehicles. Geely, for context, owns Volvo, Polestar, Lotus and a stake in Mercedes-Benz. They are not a startup.

The V7E joins the Farizon SV range already available in Australia, expanding the brand’s local lineup.

When can you buy one?

Expressions of interest are open now via farizonauto.au. Full pricing, specifications and variant details will be announced in April 2026, with deliveries commencing May 2026.

For tradies and fleet operators watching fuel costs climb, this is one to watch.
