BMW recently announced that on the back of the release of official VFACTS car sales figures for April, BMW Australia confirmed its position on its April 2020 sales result while reaffirming that it continues to outperform the automotive sector.

In new car sales results for April, BMW sales declined by just 5.7 per cent compared with 48.5 per cent for the total industry.

BMW also outperformed the industry in private sales with 973 units sold in April 2020 compared with 1137 vehicles in April 2019.

This represented a drop of just 14.4 per cent. The number was notable in being significantly lower than the 47.6 per cent decline in private car sales felt by the industry overall.
