Lepas priced the L6 BEV at $47,990 plus on-roads on the 15th of October, putting a number on the first car from Chery Group’s new-energy brand to go on sale.
The Lepas L6 is built on Chery’s LEX platform, which also takes plug-in hybrid power, as our story on the Australian specification of the L6 explained. The price follows the car finishing its Australian testing program.
The Lepas L6 BEV uses a 65kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a single front motor making 160kW/275Nm, driving the front wheels. Range is 440km WLTP and consumption is 17.5kWh/100km. On a 120kW DC charger, a top-up from 30% to 80% takes 22 minutes.
