After 20 years of Zoom Zoom, Mazda’s 20th Anniversary Mazda6 comes to Australia in 2023, with various upgrades.
Over 144,000 Mazda 6’s have found homes during the 20 year Australian run. Mazda’s flagship passenger car helped cement the brand’s reputation, and as the segment shrinks further, the brand’s special edition model aims to bring a touch of class.
This celebration model brings extra pizzaz to the Atenza, Mazda6’s top trim level. Colours include newly developed Artisan Red metallic or Rhodium White metallic, is denoted by a 20th anniversary badge the front mudguards, a high-gloss silver grille, and high-gloss silver 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Takumi touch has been given to the Leganu® synthetic suede and nappa leather. A further touch of luxury sees front seat head rests are also embossed with the 20th anniversary logo.
Mazda Australia Managing Director, Vinesh Bhindi, said the special edition model is a tribute to the significance of the Mazda6 nameplate.
“For many years, Mazda6 has captivated driving enthusiasts with its clever mix of dynamics and style, to the point where it was our best-selling model behind the Mazda3 in the mid-2000s.
“Mazda6 retains a loyal following of fans, and the 20th Anniversary Edition is a special nod to those customers who share our passion for driving for the fun of it.”
