Meet 2023 Dodge Scat Pack Swingers- Challenger R/T & Charger R/T

Dodge “Swingers” get a retro “Scat Pack” makeover model to join the “Last Call” special-edition 2023 range.

Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Swinger and 2023 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger are the 3rd and 4th in a 7-model “Last Call” range, with nods to 1960s and early 1970s. Although, SCAT has significantly different meanings, and perhaps the management should have googled it first.

It harkens back original Dodge Dart Swinger “Scat Pack” club. It had tons of power, and “groovy” options, such as green-on-green interior/exterior colour themes, gold accents and wood panel interior highlights. The 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger and 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger give gentle hints to thos early examples.

Dodge Challenger Shakedown and Dodge Charger Super Bee models, also part of the “Last Call” celebration models, signal the current Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger have reached the end of their model lives.

All 7 models will be have been revealed by the time the 2022 SEMA Show comes to Las Vegas in Nov. 1-4, 2022.

“The name says it all – the originals had a unique, fun character, and that’s the same reaction we’re hoping for with our 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger models,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “Dodge Swinger models have always held a unique spot in the Dodge muscle-car pantheon, and these modern-day models bring that fun back to life.”

Buyers will have to be quick though, as 1,000 each of the Widebody models. Buyers can choose the classic green-on-green Swinger look, with F8 Green and Sublime Green exteriors, or a White Knuckle option for something a bit different.
