Roma Spider was unleashed at a glittering event held in the El Badi Palace in Marrakesh. Ferrari claims it brings back 1950s and 60s glamour, and all of the class and elegance that comes with it. This spider brings to market much of what the V8 2+ concept offered, adding a soft top along the way.
It also brings back a front-engined car format as seen 54 years ago in the 1969 365 GTS4.
The soft-top Ferrari Roma Spider’s has an extensive options list including bespoke fabrics and contrasting stitching. The soft top operates in 13.5 seconds at up to 60 km/h. Its compact design allows for a larger, and incorporates a new, patented wind deflector. It is concealed the backrest of the rear bench and is raised or lowered from a button on the central tunnel.

The Ferrari Roma Spider has a best-in-class weight/power ratio with weight savings from the soft top, all-aluminium chassis lightweight and award winning 620 cv V8. The driveline uses Ferrari’s 8-speed DCT which is said to have fast shift times while being both comfortable to use, and mechanically efficienciant.
Ferrari claims the Roma Spider is “not just rewardingly easy to drive, it is also extremely dynamic and responsive: this makes it the perfect companion on out-of-town weekends and longer journeys alike. Always, of course, with the exhilarating Ferrari V8 soundtrack playing in the background.”
Unlike many cars of its ilk, Roma Spider has a best-in-segment boot space which includes a hatch in the rear seats backrests for longer items. Other convenience features include: wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi, 18-way-adjustable heated ergonomic seats. Rather cheekily the in-seat neck warmer is an option, something standard in cars half the price.
