That’s right—no more fumbling for fobs or digging through the depths of your bag. Just stroll up to your car, and it unlocks like magic. Or, if you’re feeling particularly nonchalant, start it without even taking your phone out of your pocket.
But wait, there’s more! You can share your digital car key with up to five lucky souls via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, WhatsApp, and other apps. You even get to decide whether they can just access the car or take it for a spin. The update also includes Power Reserve, meaning your iPhone can be dead as a doornail, and you can still get in and drive off. Handy, right?
