Bentley Motors has appointed Robin Page as the new Director of Design from 1 September 2023.

Mr Page has been in the automotive design industry for 30 years, most recently at Volvo Car Group. He was Volvo Head of Global Design and UX to spearhead the “language” for the design of Volvo’s future electric vehicles. The Swedish brand has adopted a clean and fresh look that has a timeless quality that doesn’t come by accident.

Even before heading to Volvo, Mr Page headed up Bentley’s Interior Design department between 2001 and 2013. For many years, Bentley was a rebadged Rolls Royce, splitting off when Rolls Royce went to BMW and Bentley to Volkswagen. Luxury was unquestionably the main aim, even though Bentley was meant to be a performance model.

Now, Bentley takes high-speed touring to a level of luxury normally reserved for private jets and posh yachts .

Mr Page penned the cabin design for the then-new Continental GT model. He went on to the heights of luxury, giving the Bentley Mulsanne a once over, and on to the supreme accolade, Queen Elizabeth’s State Limousine. The monarch’s ride carries the ultimate nod as the poshest of the posh.
