Apart from the 3rd gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, Caleb Dressel drives a Supra. That’s one whole lot of sex appeal. The handsome 24year old swimmer won gold in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay and is a first-time captain is at his 2nd Olympic Games.

Just as an aside, like many Olympians, Caleb has corporate sponsorship. Big business likes to be associated with handsome, successful athletes, and Toyota has backed the American team, so it is no surprise that Caleb drives the GR Supra.

After the race, Caleb said, “I felt good the whole way. I knew I had to get my hand on the wall first and get some clean water,” said Dressel. “Everyone did their job. It’s a relay for a reason; there are four guys for a reason. It is certainly not just me, and it is certainly not just one guy. I was never scared — the scariest part was my leg for myself because I had control about that. I knew they were going to get the job done; I wasn’t nervous at all — especially when Zach [Apple] hit the water and I saw him break out. I knew it was over.”

Caleb’s home town of Green Cove Springs, Florida would have been on their feet cheering, with more than a few hearts pattering, for one reason or another. He can be seen in his GR Supra around his current digs in Gainesville, Florida.

Caleb graduated from the University of Florida. During his time there, he won nine NCAA championships races. Not only is Dressel considered to have the best start “off the block” in history, but he also became the first swimmer to win eight medals at a single World Championships in 2019.

Like many athletes, Caleb has a good luck charm, and his is a bandana. The bandana once belonged to a former teach, Claire McCool, who passed away from cancer. Claebl thought of her as his life coach, and this is not only a way to remember her.

Finally, no, Caleb is not single. He married his long-time girlfriend, Meghan, in their home state of Florida in 2021. Boys and girls everywhere will feel slgihtly disappointed no doubt.
