Top 10 Things about LGBT Favourite: Subaru XV

Subaru is a great favourite in the Cheese and Wine Set, and especially among the gay and lesbian community. Why? Read on to find out:

  1. Vast internal space for a car this size
  2. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
  3. Comfortable Seats
  4. Symmetrical AWD
  5. S/I Drive
  6. Off Road Drive Modes
  7. Economical
  8. 5 year warranty
  9. Cool colours
  10. Ride Comfort

That’s the list, and here is what it means to gay and lesbian drivers. You might well ask how we differ to the straight drivers? If you have to ask, then there is no answer that will satisfy you!

ABOVE: 2021 Subaru XV

  • XV Space is excellent and although rear seaters will be cosy, the design leaves plenty of room for legs, and a ton of space for gear.
  • CarPlay should be essential for anyone who want a complete handsfree experience. See our Video Demo HERE
  • Seating in XV is incredibly comfortable, especially on long trips. Hours in the saddle can leave you tired and sore if things aren’t just so. All Subarus have great seats, in fact I’d say, its all tickety-boo.
  • XV’s Symmetrical AWD gives worry-free motoring on rubbish roads. Wet weather can get tyres scrambling for grip, but this AWD makes that highly unlikely unless you really get stuck in. It is a dab hand at muddy tracks and snow too.
  • S/I drive is a simplified drive mode. We used in on the highway for a bit of extra pep. It locks the CVT into keeping gearing low for a spritely take off. Subaru’s CVT needs all the help it can get, in Forester, or any other model.
  • Off Road drive modes are just the ticket for water-sports, snow trips, and a jaunt to your cosy, charismatic, country cottage. XV is surprisingly efficient.
  • Economy was fairly close to Subaru’s promised 7L/100k with 159g/k of CO2.
  • 5 year warranty with unlimited kilometres. You get roadside assistance and capped price servicing.
  • There are the boring colours that have invaded our roadside consciousness of late, but the Plasma Yellow Pearl is a retro mix of a green/yellow that hints to the halcyon days of a bygone era.
  • Ride in XV and most other Subarus is sensational. It appreciated even more as the going gets tougher. What We liked most was the supremely smooth ride on the highway. It conveyed the pampered passengers in limo-like bliss.
