Toyota GR Corolla Here Early 2023: Details HERE

GR Corolla has been promised for what seems like an age, but buyers will see the model arrive early in 2023 according to Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations Sean Hanley.

This bring the Corolla range to 4 models: hatch, sedan, SUV and GR hot hatch. The range includes petrol and hybrid models, but it is the go-quick hot hatch buyers have been waiting for.

Other GR models include the recently release GR 86, GR Yaris and GR Supra.

GR Corolla uses the GR Yaris’ turbo 3-cyldinder, but with 10% extra power. 220kw gets to all 4 wheels through a 6 speed manual, no automatic option on offer. Drive modes include Normal, Sport, Track and Custom with the latter allowing the driver to remember personal settings.

The look takes on the muscular Gazoo Racing look with larger lower grille, triple exhaust and added spoiler. The widened front and rear track is further highlighted by 18” black alloys with igh-performance Yokohama ADVAN Apex tyres.
