Honda Australia has confirmed that the 2025 Civic Type R (FL5) is about to get a striking wardrobe update. The iconic hot hatch will be available in a brand-new Racing Blue paint finish, joining Championship White, Crystal Black, and Sonic Grey in the colour line-up. It’s bold, it’s loud, and it’s bound to get more attention than a sequinned shirt at Mardi Gras.

The Civic Type R has always been more than just a car; it’s Honda’s love letter to performance, heritage, and razor-sharp handling. Designed in Japan, the FL5 combines a sleek, aerodynamic body with clever engineering that ensures it looks as fast as it goes. And it certainly goes.
